Thank you for the links. I'm still so sad. I grew up desperately wanting to have Farrah's hair (which girl didn't?) but be Michael Jackson. He was the coolest guy around during my high school years.
I was having the conversation this morning with my cousin who was a year behind me throughout school, and each of us agreed that we grew up with the J5/MJ music. It was part of our soundtrack, so to speak. And Farrah was so much a part of the 70's that those of us who survived them had her to thank for the fun part. Finally, we agreed that yesterday had the same impact on us as when we first heard that Elvis died.
I'll second that.
