Whitewash!!!

Big News Orgs Help Bush Whitewash History of Iraq War

I hate to make this my first post of December, but what's happening in the major news outlets is beyond wrong. I'd say this is one of the most important posts from TPM and Greg Sargent. The, I was fooled by bad intel excuse is pathetic, stupid, and plain wrong (but, what else should I expect from the Worst...President...Ever). But, unfortunately, the likes of Washington Post, NY Times, CNN, Reuters, and others are blatantly attempting to sell this crap to their readers. I hope the bloggers, commenters, and alternate news sites pick this up and run with it because this is just propaganda (and evidence of one of the most corrupt U.S. administrations in history). And, it is helped by the years of conglomeration of the news media by corporations buying up most of those outlets.

Again, Another Sensible Fareed Zacharia Article

Though our current likes to call himself this, Zacharia spots a clearer reality in this piece. As usual, George the second has gotten it wrong. A key quote:

In fact, America is an extremely powerful country, with a unique and extraordinary set of strengths. The only way that position can truly be eroded is by its own actions and overreactions—by unwise and imprudent leadership.

And, of course, the correct answer is false.

Addicted to Oil? How About One More Hit?

Mr. Bush, Lead or Leave by Thomas L. Friedman, N.Y. Times Op-Ed

Friedman does a great job pointing out King George's "massive, fraudulent, pathetic excuse for an energy policy." As much as I hate putting gas into my car, and emptying my wallet in the process, we need this shock to the system to instill the change that'll drive the investments in renewable energy.

And as for Bush II, I can't say it better than the bumper sticker I saw last year:

Worst. President. Ever.

Nuff, said.
